What trading courses and mentorships actually cost on Whop

We tracked the live price of all 49 trading courses and mentorships on Whop. The median is $100 a month. The cheapest is $25 and the most expensive is $1,250 — a spread of more than 50x for products that describe themselves in almost identical language.

The three price brackets that actually exist

Ignore the marketing tiers and the numbers cluster into three groups. Below $80 you are almost always buying access to a feed — alerts, calls or drops posted into a channel, with no obligation on anyone to explain them. Between $80 and $195 you start getting the explanation: session recordings, written breakdowns, somewhere to ask a question and get an answer. Above $195 you are paying for a person's time, and that is the only thing at this price that is genuinely scarce.

The mistake is assuming the brackets map to quality. They map to format. A $25 feed run by someone good is worth more than a $1,250 course run by someone average, and our rankings are full of both.

How to think about the monthly number

Every subscription here renews until you cancel, so the real question is not "is $100 a lot?" but "is $1,200 a lot?" — the annual figure. Judge it against that, give any community one full billing cycle before deciding, and cancel without guilt if it has not earned the second one.

16 of the 49 communities we track state that all sales are final. For those, the first payment is the whole decision, so the annual framing matters even more.

Price does not predict quality here

We checked price against member rating across the 45 communities where we hold both figures. The correlation is +0.16 — statistically, no relationship at all. Paying more buys you a different format and sometimes more of someone's attention, but it does not reliably buy a better-regarded service. Anyone telling you that the expensive option must be better is guessing.

What the price never tells you

Three things cost a seller real money to provide, and none of them are visible on a pricing page: how fast questions get answered, whether losing calls stay in the channel, and how many people are competing for the same attention. A $195 room with forty members can be better value than a $80 room with four thousand, and the only way to find out is the review count and what the complaints say.

The billing detail most people miss

Plans here renew on their own cycle, and some are not monthly — you will find weekly, 3-day and 3-month billing across this category, which makes headline prices hard to compare. We normalise nothing and show the seller's own terms, so check the unit before comparing two numbers. A $25 price on a 3-day cycle is not cheap; it is roughly ten times the monthly equivalent.
